How are Maximum Opportunity payments sent to the school?

Once a Maximum Opportunity loan has been funded, and the initial 40% of tuition financed is sent to your school, the remaining incoming student payments begin the following waterfall payment structure:

  • Depending on the school contract, either 20% (if the investor agreement is 80% above) or 10% (if the investor agreement is 90% above) of the leftover payments are remitted to the school and applied against their outstanding tuition financed amount.
  • If and when the investor has been fully paid off then the school will begin to receive 100% of the aggregate payments (net of Climb servicing fees).
  • Any leftover cash flows will be eligible for earned revenue by Climb.
