Students can access each application page by searching for their school name on climbcredit.com/students, or by going directly to their school's application page at climbcredit.com/apply/[school].
How to Apply
The Climb application is simple and quick — it normally takes students less than 5 minutes to complete. The application asks for the following information:
Basic student information
Option to add a co-borrower
Loan and program information
Disclosures and submit application
Note: At the time of application, Climb only submits a soft credit check on the student's credit report. This allows students to submit their application as many times as they like without getting penalized. A hard credit check will be submitted once the loan is funded and finalized. Document signing
Once they've applied, students will be able to log in to their Student Portal, where they can keep track of their progress, view and sign their loan documents, and request updates to their application. Clicking "ACCEPT LOAN AGREEMENT" in the Action Center will allow them to read all of their documents and accept them electronically with just a click. View the process in our video below:
