Your school portal’s reporting capabilities give you a powerful set of tools to track student loan performance, identify opportunities, and manage accounts more efficiently. This guide explains the main reporting areas — both in Vantage and Reports — and provides practical examples of how to use each one.


Vantage Reports

The Vantage section of the portal provides a high-level view of your portfolio, along with detailed breakdowns for deeper analysis.


1. Portfolio Summary

What it shows:
A snapshot of your school’s entire loan portfolio — total number of loans, balances, repayment statuses, and trends over time.

Use cases:

  • Monitor overall portfolio health at a glance.

  • Quickly assess the proportion of active vs. completed loans.

  • Spot long-term growth or repayment trends.


2. Credit Breakdown

What it shows:
Distribution of approved loans by borrower credit tiers.

Use cases:

  • Understand the credit quality of your student base.

  • Identify shifts in credit trends over time.

  • Inform future marketing or admissions strategies based on risk profile.


3. Early Delinquency Report

What it shows:
Students who are behind on payments within the first 90 days of repayment.

Use cases:

  • Identify at-risk borrowers early and engage with them proactively.

  • Share timely reminders or support resources with students.

  • Track success of early-intervention strategies.


4. Climb Tier Breakdown

What it shows:
Distribution of students across Climb Credit tiers, which reflect various risk and pricing categories.

Use cases:

  • Evaluate how different pricing tiers perform over time.

  • See the impact of marketing or program changes on tier mix.


5. Product Breakdown

What it shows:
Loans grouped by product type (e.g., interest-bearing, 0% interest, deferred payment plans).

Use cases:

  • Track which loan products are most popular among students.

  • Compare repayment performance between products.

  • Inform future product offerings.


6. Unfinished Applications

What it shows:
Students who began an application but have not completed it.

Use cases:

  • Follow up with students to encourage completion.

  • Understand where students drop off in the application process.

  • Adjust communications or application steps to improve completion rates.


Reports

The Reports section is focused on specific, actionable data sets you can export or review in detail.


1. Repayment Trends

What it shows:
Repayment performance over time — including on-time, late, and delinquent payments. Also shows whether students are currently set up on autopay and when advances are expected.

Use cases:

  • MaxOpp tracking: Identify repayment patterns to target outreach to students most likely to get back on track.

  • Monitor repayment progress month over month.

  • Spot seasonal or cohort-based repayment challenges.

  • Quickly check autopay enrollment status to anticipate repayment consistency.

  • Track upcoming advances for financial planning.


2. Non-Advance Remittances

What it shows:
Details of payments received that aren’t tied to an advance. This report is only available if your school offers Climb’s No Advance products.


3. Recurring + Transaction Reports

What it shows:
Breakdowns of recurring payments and individual transactions. This report is only available if your school offers Climb’s payment products.

You can access Vantage and Reports from your School Portal dashboard. Each section includes filters to refine your view by date range, program, or other criteria.
